The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - IELTS is an English comprehension exam, and it is one of only a handful of English comprehension exams that are used for entrance into universities and colleges in countries where English is the native language.

 

FUG has designed an IELTS course to provide students with comprehensive studies and application techniques in all four English language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. 

 

All of our instructors are skilled ESL professionals with experience in the field, and they possess the necessary ESL certifications to teach for this unique group of students. 

 

Our course lasts six weeks and is designed to improve students’ English comprehension and help them achieve a score of 5 or higher. This score is relative to a student’s current language ability. 

 

Students are encouraged to take an active part in the course from start to finish. If a student attends all classes and performs all the associated tasks and a higher score is not achieved on IELTS exam than their admittance level, then students can attend the prep course once more at no additional cost.

 

This course consists of 60 hours face-to-face instruction in all four skill areas tested on the exam, and courses are designed to focus on each individual skill in the classroom through in-class activities and instruction.

 

To achieve success, students must utilize the English language both inside and outside the classroom. This is truly meant to be a complete language immersion experience, and students are expected to dive in and practice using the language every single day.

 

Our instructors are all trained to deliver the most efficient and productive approach to the curriculum materials provided by Cambridge University Press. All instructors have their individual teaching styles, but all are here to help our students achieve their highest possible scores on this exam.

A placement exam is given to every student upon entrance to the program, an students are placed in the correct class accordingly.
